From the time of the Vedas till the 21st century, women have played a continuous and integral role in improvement of society, being compassionate to the vulnerable, supporting the truth, and being an anchor of infinite love. Adding to the global achievement of women, daughters of Nepal are known for their triumphant attitude, and I am so proud of identifying myself as a Nepali woman. My ambition in life is to spread exultant behaviour along with good morals, and try to make the communities where I have grown up, and learned in, proud of their nurture. Miss Nepal USA is a quintessential platform for daughters of Nepal living in the United States to not only cherish our beloved culture, but also spread the wisdom of our land amongst those who desperately need it. I am so humbled to be a part of this experience and thank Divine intervention for guiding my path towards this exemplary mission.
Thank you for your love and support.

I am Sapana Maharjan 24 years old from Kathmandu Nepal, currently living in Lewisville TX. I have been to The United States for 3 years. I am currently an F1 student pursuing my degree in business analytics and minor in social work. I do have zeal to be a successful social entrepreneur with my keen motive to create a proper education system in the far western area of Nepal where children don't have access to education. This pageant will help me to get one step further to my goal, which is to make access to education for every child in rural Nepal and convert its dark life into bright sunshine “No child should be left behind”. This will give me a satisfaction, which I could never get, from working in a big organization or having a million dollars in an account. With this pageant will thus make me ready to make other happy with myself being happy and I have always known that sharing happiness matters most in the life.
My name is Shreya Nepali and I am from Dallas, Texas. I’m currently pursuing my bachelor's degree from the University of Texas Arlington in Computer Information
Systems. I am really excited to announce that I have been selected as one of the 21 finalists for Miss Nepal USA. Beauty Pageant is not all about being pretty and smart but miss Nepal US gives the platform for women to showcase their abilities and talents of what they can contribute to the organization and this is the reason for me participating in Miss Nepal USA 2018.
Miss Nepal USA helps Nepal by supporting health and education for citizens that do not have access to adequate health care or a predictable school system.
I've always participated in volunteer activities in my academic career including organizing a river cleanup initiative, assisting the underprivileged, and raising funds for community projects through my honor society. Helping others has always been a priority of mine, and winning the title Miss Nepal would be a great opportunity for me to help others; especially the children in Nepal who currently cannot pursue a proper education.
My name is Sukrity Dhungel, I’m 19 years old and I’ll be representing North Carolina in the 6th Miss Nepal US this year. I was born and raised in America, but my love for Nepal and pride for being Nepali is stronger than it could ever be. I am currently a pre-law student at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, and I’m interning at a private law firm. I have been actively involved in the Nepali community since a very young age through volunteer-work, and I aspire to represent all Nepali people so that I can vocalize for change within our communities. If given the honor of winning the title, I will work towards developing a technological platform in the U.S. to connect all Nepali people in the country, from various backgrounds. In Nepal, I aspire to create some type of a resourceful environment for women, whether it be a way of helping domestic violence victims, creating workshops to teach women how to access online news, or even providing education and jobs.
