Adding to the global achievement of women, daughters of Nepal are known for their triumphant attitude, and I am so proud of identifying myself as a Nepali woman. My ambition in life is to spread exultant behaviour along with good morals, and try to make the communities where I have grown up, and learned in, proud of their nurture. Miss Nepal USA is a quintessential platform for daughters of Nepal living in the United States to not only cherish our beloved culture, but also spread the wisdom of our land amongst those who desperately need it. I am currently an F1 student pursuing my degree in business analytics and minor in social work. I do have zeal to be a successful social entrepreneur with my keen motive to create a proper education system in the far western area of Nepal where children don't have access to education. This pageant will help me to get one step further to my goal, which is to make access to education for every child in rural Nepal and convert its dark life into bright sunshine “No child should be left behind”. This will give me a satisfaction, which I could never get, from working in a big organization or having a million dollars in an account. With this pageant will thus make me ready to make other happy with myself being happy and I have always known that sharing happiness matters most in the life.
Regards,
Sapana Maharjan

My name is Shreya Nepali and I am from Dallas, Texas. I’m currently pursuing my bachelor's degree from the University of Texas Arlington in Computer Information
Systems. I am really excited to announce that I have been selected as one of the 21 finalists for Miss Nepal USA. Beauty Pageant is not all about being pretty and smart but miss Nepal US gives the platform for women to showcase their abilities and talents of what they can contribute to the organization and this is the reason for me participating in Miss Nepal USA 2018.
Miss Nepal USA helps Nepal by supporting health and education for citizens that do not have access to adequate health care or a predictable school system.
I've always participated in volunteer activities in my academic career including organizing a river cleanup initiative, assisting the underprivileged, and raising funds for community projects through my honor society. Helping others has always been a priority of mine, and winning the title Miss Nepal would be a great opportunity for me to help others; especially the children in Nepal who currently cannot pursue a proper education.
