नेब्रास्का नेप्लिज सोसाइटीको आयोजना र मिस नेपाल यूएसको संरक्षणमा यही अक्टोबर १२ तारिखका दिन हुने सातौं संस्करण प्रतियोगिता नेब्रास्कामा हुने बारेमा यहाँहरु सबै जानकार नै हुनुहुन्छ ।अमेरिकामा रहेका १९ देखी २९बर्ष उमेर समुहका नेपाली युवतीहरुले प्रतियोगितामा भाग लिन पाउनेछन् । आवेदन खुल्ला भएकाले इच्छुकलाई सहभागिता जनाउन आग्रह गर्दछौं ।

सौन्दर्य प्रतियोगितालाई बिगतका बर्षहरु भन्दा अझै बढी प्रभावकारी र स्तरिय बनाउनका लागि हाम्रो प्रयास जारी छ । यसै सन्दर्भमा मिस नेपाल यूनिर्भस २०१७ बिजेता नग्मा श्रेष्ठ मिस नेपाल यूएसको सातौं सस्करण्का लागि अफिसियल कोरियोग्राफर तथा फाइनल चरणका लागि कार्यक्रम उदघोषक रहने सगौरव घोषणा गर्दछौं।

नग्माले सन् २०१७ मा लसभेगसमा सम्पन्न अन्तराष्ट्रिय स्तरको सौन्दर्य प्रतियोगिता मिस यूनिर्भसमा नेपालको प्रतिनिधित्व गरेकी थिइन् । साथै फिलिपिन्समा सम्पन्न सौन्दर्य प्रतियोगितामा समेत उनले नेपालको प्रतिनिधित्व गरेकी थिइन् । त्यहाँ उनि उत्कृष्ट ८ मा पुगेकी थिइन् । यस्तै उनि २०१६ मा चिनमा भएको प्रतिस्पर्धामा थर्डरनर वल्ड मिस यूनिर्भसको उपाधि समेत जितेकी थिइन् ।

यस्तै नग्माले वेष्ट टुरिजम भिडियो अवार्ड प्राप्त गरेकी छन्, भने नग्माले इजिप्टमा भएको मिस इको यूनिभर्स २०१६ मा समेत सहभागिता जनाएकी थिइन् । सन् २००९ देखी निग्मा श्रेष्ठ इमेज च्यानलमा कार्यक्रम प्रस्तोताका रुपमा छिन् । साथै उनि प्रतिभावान कार्यक्रम निमार्ता तथा प्रस्तोताको रुपमा चिनिन्छिन् ।

उनको सहभागिताले हाम्रो सातौं संस्करण अझै स्तरिय हुने हामीले अपेक्षा गरेका छौं । यसका लागि अन्य तयारीहरु समेत तिव्र स्तरमा भएको यहाँहरु सबैलाई जानकारी गराउँदछौं । अन्य थप जानकारी हामीले समय समयमा अपडेट गर्दै जानेछौं ।

सातौं संस्करणको सौन्दर्य प्रतियोगिता मिस नेपाल यूएस २०१९ का अन्तिम प्रतियोगिहरु छनौंट भईरहेको घोषणा गर्दा हामी गौरवान्वित भएका छौं ।

हामीले प्रतियोगितालाई भव्य एवं सभ्य रुपमा सम्पन्न गर्नका लागि तयारी तिव्र पारिरहेका छौं ।

नेब्रास्का नेप्लिज सोसाइटीको आयोजना र मिस नेपाल यूएसको संरक्षणमा यही अक्टोबर १२ तारिखका दिन हुने प्रतियोगिता बिजेताले नगद पाँच हजार डलर पुरस्कार सहित अन्य विबिध बिद्यामा पुरकार जित्ने बारेमा यहाँहरुलाई जानकारी नै छ ।

“इम्पावरिंग यूथ, प्रोमाटिङ नेपाल” भन्ने नाराका साथ अगाडि बढाइएको सो प्रतियोगिताको हालसम्म अमेरिकाको विभिन्न शहरहरुमा ६ वटा श्रंखलाहरु सम्पन्न भैसकेका छन् । जसअनुसार सन् २०११ मा न्यूयोर्कमा सम्पन्न पहिलो प्रतियोगिताबाट वासिंटन डिसीकि सुजिता बस्नेत, सन् २०१२ माडिसीमा भएको प्रतियोगिताबाट भर्जिनियाकि आस्था श्रेष्ठ, सन् २०१३, २०१४ र २०१५ मा न्युयोर्कमा सम्पन्न भएको प्रतियोगिताबाट क्रमश न्यूयोर्ककी बर्तिका राई, आहायोकि खुश्बु मिश्र र नर्थ क्यारोलिनाकि प्रियंका थपलियाले उपाधि हात पारेका थिए । यस्तै गतसाल टेक्सासमा सम्पन्नप्रतियोगिताबाट नेब्रास्का ओमाहाकी डिलासा न्यौपानेले मिस यूएस -२०१८ को ताज हात पारेकी थिइन् ।

We are pleased to announce that all final contestants of Miss Nepal US 2019 national pageant will receive COLLEGE CREDITS from our official volunteer service partner; HABITAT FOR HUMANITY.

Habitat for Humanity is a global nonprofit housing organization working in local communities across all 50 states in the U.S. and in approximately 70 countries. Habitat’s vision is of a world where everyone has a decent place to live. As per recent agreement between Miss Nepal US organizer and Habitat for Humanity, all finalist contestants of 7th edition of Miss Nepal US (2019) will have opportunity to do volunteer service at Omaha based Habitat for Humanity and volunteer service credit will be provide which can be also utilized for collage.

Founder and chairman of Miss Nepal US national pageant, Mr. Amit Shah states that this is great news for all of us and I am very confident that this will create ample of opportunity for young Nepalese American women to experience volunteer service with such reputed organization and also receive credits which can utilize for College as well. Further, this will certainly add glory to founding goal and significance of Miss Nepal US event which is not just a beauty pageant, but serve as a platform for the participants to achieve their personal, professional and philanthropic goals with valuable interactions and experience of empowerment gained throughout the contest. The history of Miss Nepal US began 2011 in the City of New York where Sujita Basnet was crowned as the first Miss Nepal US whereas the second Miss Nepal US was held on August 2012 in Washington DC where Astha Shrestha won the prestigious title. The 3rd Saga of Miss Nepal US was organized in New York in August 2013 where Bartika Rai was crowned as 3rd Miss Nepal US and Miss Khusbu Mishra, from Ohio was crowned Miss Nepal US 2014 at the grand finale of the NRN Connect 4th Miss Nepal US beauty pageant held at Queens Theater in New York in August 2014. The 5th Miss Nepal US was won by Priyanka Thapaliya. The beauty pageant was held at the Concert Hall of NY Society of Ethical Culture, New York in August 2015. Dilasha Neupane won the crown of 6th Miss Nepal US (2018) held on August 19, 2018 in Texas, USA.

This year the Miss Nepal US Pageant is officially inaugurating it's "Beauty Without Limit" platform. Known as a leadership pageant that provides a stage to groom our titleholders into beautiful leaders, we are now integrating a test for those core leadership qualities. Over the course of our six year reign, we have recognized the leadership and entrepreneurial works of each of our titleholders, subtitle ho

lders and contestants. In the hopes of spotlighting and accentuating the unique works of each of our past, current and future participants we are adding this leadership component to the Miss Nepal US Leadership Pageant starting this year!

How will the "Beauty Without Limit" platform be incorporated into the Miss Nepal US 2019 Pageant?

This year each contestant will represent a platform, social impact initiative, community service, or project that she is passionate about as her "Beauty Without Limit" platform. She will promote her "Beauty Without Limit" platform leading up to the pageant weekend and also on stage at the Grand Finale. Each contestant will deliver a 30 second speech on-stage about her "Beauty Without Limit" platform, which will then be followed by a direct question related to her platform from one judge. This will allow all contestants to not only rock the stage, but also the mic!

How will the contestant's "Beauty Without Limit" platform presentation be evaluated?

Each contestant's "Beauty Without Limit" platform presentation will make up 50% of the on-stage score, 25% will be based on her speech and 25% will be based on her Q&A. She will be judged on her the effectiveness of her Q&A, choice of words, message and overall delivery style. We want to highlight that communication is a key component of effective leaders!

Executive director of Soarway Foundation Scott H. DeLisi, made an announcement on Social Media that the winner of 6th Miss Nepal US will be appointed as a goodwill ambassador of Soarway Foundation. Soarway foundation is committed to Building a Safer Nepal since April 2015. The foundation will also be working as a charity partner of Miss Nepal US.

Organizer 6th Miss Nepal US 2018 Dallas Texas

Malina Joshi, Winner of Miss Nepal World 2011 and Nepali Actress has been appointed as a official trainer of Miss Nepal US 2018. Former Miss Nepal Joshi represented Nepal in Miss World 2011 which was held on 4 November 2011 in London. She was selected to perform Nepalese folk dance in the final day of the competition.

She was also on the top-30 for Beauty with a Purpose title, a major award at Miss World.She was also among the top five finalists in Miss Angel 2010 contest. Although she did not win, she attained the Miss Intellect title award.She also participated in Miss Asia Pacific world in 2013 where she ended as one of the 15 semi-finalists in the pageant held in Seoul, Korea.

Malina has performed in several video commercial, music videos and Nepali movies like Ritu, Jhumkee, The Winner and upcoming movie Rani.

Malina was a trainer for 4th Miss Nepal US in New York in 2014. Other than Miss Nepal US, she has also trained and choreographed for Miss Nepal California 2015 and Miss Bhutan US 2015.

I. Overview

Each year the Miss Nepal US pageant is known for adapting and bringing awareness regarding socio-cultural agendas.

II. Application & Criteria

All Nepalese women, age between 19-29 who are residing in USA can participant in 6th Miss Nepal US 2018 event.

Applications are now open and interested ones can apply electronically via our official website www.missnepalus.com

Furthermore, in an effort to strengthen the Nepalese-American Youth relationship, to give opportunities to those who want to help Nepal, and/or have elaborately formulated relief effort concepts to support the Nepal earthquake victims, this year we are also opening our platform to the American females of all races, ages 19-29, where they will be competing for the exclusive sub-title of Miss Nepal US – Ambassador.

Application Eligibility Criteria

● Age: 19 to 29. (Must be 19 and 29 at the time you submit your application)

● Status: Unmarried (Must be unmarried until the end of July 30, 2018)

● Must be leaving in USA and have eligible document to travel in & out of USA.

● Must be of good health and moral character.

● Must be interested to raise awareness of the current natural disaster occurring in Nepal.

● Must have previous leadership experience (school, college, community) and/or have a strong passion to develop leadership qualities.

● Must have the willpower to grow with, adapt to, and find balanced solutions to various challenges. ● Must submit application online at www.missnepalus.com and must pay non-refundable application fee.

III. Audition Phase 1

Short listed candidates based on their application will be contacted for first phase of the audition and they will have an option for skype/phone audition or live audition at convenient location set forth by the organizers. Based on following criteria, contestants will be selected though audition process.

Phase 2

After the selection of contestants, the 10 best contestants will be chosen to compete at Grand Finale and the title of the 6th Miss Nepal US 2018. The 10 contestants will be chosen after a second round of Auditions based on the following criteria

First Audition: 50% Merit - GPA, College Groups and Associations, Past work and/ or Concrete vision/project to support Nepal: 30%

Pre Judging - Q & A by the pre-judging committee: 20%

IV. Workshop & Training

Come with your enthusiasm and spark; that is what we look for in our contestants. It is solely your attitude; intellectual vigor, independent spirit and your willingness to learn and grow that will set you apart from the rest and will eventually chart your way towards the title. Rest, our mentors will cast a magic spell on your personality and coach you into your success.

Pre-Training Preparation

● All participants must come into the pageant with confidence, positive attitude, a willingness to learn rigorous routines in a short time, and their own unique stage presence.

● Basic runway walk knowledge & skill Training

● Training will take place over a course of 3 days and it will be focused on coaching sessions to prepare for grand finale by professional Choreographer and Trainers.

● Special attention will not be given to each individual to help perfect walk.

● Participants will be required to learn multiple routines in the given time frame.

● Participants will be given a training schedule. All participants are required to comply with the times stated on the schedule or consequences will result in their final score.

● Participants are encouraged to work with one another to build and maintain a strong MISS NEPAL US network.

IV. Talent Show

Each selected finalist have to show their talent during talent show organized before grand finale event. Organizer will inform about talent show in details at least one week prior to Grand Finale event.

V. Grand Finale & Crowning

Here is a chance for every aspiring young girl who has traveled to this 'Land of opportunity' to earn international fame and add wings to her dreams. Amid wide acclaim and new avenues of success, the winner will be a youth icon for the young generation and add glory to the Nepali community globally.

Basically, finalist will be performing on following segments:

Choreographer will make final decision and above format subjected to change any time depend up on various situation and need. Each finalist will be provide details about different segment of performance one week prior to training & workshop start. Judging Criteria We aim at identifying talented young women who can uphold our national pride in United States and around the world. We pride ourselves in the fact that our judging criteria for the Miss Nepal US are grounded on our search for an inner beauty which the participants shall display through their intelligence and meritorious conduct throughout the competition. Hence, participants are not required to expose their body in swimsuits. In fact, we have intentionally abandoned such need for the pageant. Supporting Children's Health & Education Rebuilding Bal Siksha Primary School in Thokarpa VDC, Sindhupalchok, Nepal

The earthquake on April, 2015, has affected us in the worst condition that we can imagine. Being in Nepal and experiencing the second biggest earthquake (7.3 magnitude) wasn't easy for me, and I have seen how people were battling against the recovery from the damages the earthquake had caused. With the help of Miss Nepal US, I am able to help my country. This year Miss Nepal USA was a charity event, all the donations that we collected is going for the Rebuilding Nepal project. The main purpose of my trip in Nepal for 12 days was to observe different earthquake affected areas and to see if we can establish a project for children's education and health that can last long term and can be beneficial for sustainable development of the country.

During my stay in Nepal, I went to Thokarpa VDC (Pahari Community) and a Primary School in Sindhupalchok with the students of Divyabhumi Multiple College. While we were there, we distributed some relief material like blankets & hats. I also went to Shree Manthali Higher Secondary School, Manthali, Ramechhap, Nepal and distributed One Lakh Rupees scholarship fund to the earthquake affected & poor community students recommended by School management committee. My other visit site included NGO'S such as SOS Children's Village, Amrita Foundation, Heartbeat (Children's Care Center), Orchid Care Home located at Gulfutar, Kathmandu, Meeting & Interaction with Hon. Vice President of Nepal and Nepal Tourism Board CEO. Also participated and organized press conference about my Nepal visit at Nepal Tourism Board a day before departure from Nepal to USA.

Despite only 12 days in Nepal, I was able to observe some earthquake affected areas. During my visit in Sindhupalchowk, which is most affected from the earthquake. I saw that the families living there are having problems everyday. It is really hard to see your people suffer like that. We weren't able to do much except provide a warm blanket for the cold winter nights in December. I also saw a school built for the children of the village. It was in the worst situation where the students had to sit on the cold floor and there was no blackboards for the teachers to write on. Moreover, there wasn’t a proper bathroom to be found near the school area. Because of that, the children's family were having health problems everyday.

Thus, after discussion, suggestion & approval from Event Planet USA officials, the organizer of Miss Nepal US event as well as charity partner’s representative, I have decided build a bathroom for students at Bal Siksha Primary School in Thokarpa VDC, Sindhupalchok, Nepal. Further, I also want to support & distribute some essential materials for the school such as blackboards and books.

Fundraising, & Project Implementation:

With the support of Miss Nepal US 2015 event charity partner, Nepalese American Foundation, we collectively raised $8429.00 & after deduction of their fee from Crowdraise (fundraiser official site), we received total amount of $7,710.43

As part of first phase of, I spend $2,465.34 during my Nepal trip & for distribution of cold relief materials to earthquake affected peoples as well distribution of scholarship and others educational material to poor students of school. From the remaining balance, I have decided to start the second phase of Miss Nepal US 2015 - Rebuilding Nepal Project and as per school request (letter attached) & agreement, $2500.00 transferred to start building students bathroom to school official bank account provided by school authorities. Remaining balance will be send to school as work progress report & need assessment report send by school as well as observation from Miss Nepal US team. I will keep update with work progress and completion of project in future.

His contribution to strengthen the bonds of friendship within the Nepalese American community is commendable. Dr. Shah is very loved by his community members and he has served as a role model to young Nepali immigrants. His commitment to the American Nepalese community includes his leadership as the president of the America-Nepal Friendship Society, a 26 year old Nepalese American organization committing to fostering friendship between the Nepalese and American people. He is also the founder member and General Secretary of Association of Nepali Physicians in America (ANPA) and board member of America Nepal Medical Foundation. Currently, Dr. Shah also serving to the global Non Residents Nepali people as elected executive members of NRNA ICC from USA.

New York - August 23rd, 2014 - Miss Khusbu Mishra, from Ohio was crowned Miss Nepal US 2014 at the grand finale of the NRN Connect 4th Miss Nepal US beauty pageant held at Queens Theater in New York on August 23rd 2014. Along with the title of Miss Nepal US 2014, Khusbu won the title of Miss Culture and Tourism, Miss Scholastic Achievement, won a $5,000 scholarship (Sponsored by Rajshree Charitable Foundation) to continue her education, and a round trip air fare to Nepal (sponsored by World Air Link Travels). The first runner-up was Miss Sushama Sharma from California who earned a $3000 scholarship (sponsored by DTNY by Sweety). Winner of the pageant will be awarded with certain inalienable amount of 5 thousand US dollar as scholarship. इभेन्ट प्लानेट इन्ट अमेरिकाले सन् २०११ देखि इप्लानेट प्रा.ली. नेपालको सहकार्यमा हरेक वर्ष मिस नेपाल अमेरिका गर्दै आएको सर्वविदितै छ । यसवर्ष मिस नेपाल अमेरिकाको चौथो संस्करण आगामी अगस्त ९ मा न्युयोर्कको क्वीन्स थियटरमा हुने घोषणा गर्दछौं । साथै प्रतियोगिताका लागि आवेदन खुला गरिएको पनि सहर्ष जानकारी गराउँछौं । प्रतियोगितामा सहभागी हुन चाहने १८ देखि २९ वर्षसम्मका युवतीहरुले १० जुनसम्म आवेदन दिनसक्नेछन् । मिस नेपाल अमेरिकाको आधिकारिक वेभसाइट मिस नेपाल युएस डटकममार्फत इच्छुकहरुले आवेदन दिन सक्नेछन् । विजेतालाई ५ हजार अमेरिकी डलरको छात्रबृत्ति प्रदान गरिने छ । त्यसैगरी फस्ट रनर अप र सेकेण्ड रनर अपले पनि क्रमश ३ र २ हजार डलरको छात्रबृत्ति प्राप्त गर्नेछन् । विजेताले साथमा अन्य उपहारहरु पनि प्राप्त गर्नेछन् । अमेरिकामा रहेका मात्र नभई क्यानडामा रहेका नेपाली युवतीले पनि प्रतियोगितामा सहभागिता जनाउनसक्नेछन् ।

युवा शशक्तिकरण र नेपालको प्रवद्धन भन्ने मुल नाराका साथ हुने मिस नेपाल अमेरिका पारदर्शी तरिकाले गरिनेछ । प्रतियोगितामा निर्णायकको निर्णय नै अन्तिम निर्णय हुनेछ भने निर्णायकको निर्णय लाई पारदर्शिता अपनाउनका लागि लाइसेन्स प्राप्त सीपीए राखिने छ । यसवर्ष हुने मिस नेपाल अमेरिका प्रतियोगितामा सहभागीहरुले मिस नेपाल न्युयोर्क, मिस नेपाल क्यालिफोर्निया, मिस नेपाल टेक्सास जस्ता टाइटलहरु पनि जित्न सक्नेछन् । साथै विगतका वर्षहरुमा जस्तै मिस ट्यालेन्ट, मिस पपुलर लगायतका टाइटलहरु यस पटक पनि राखिएको छ ।

मिस नेपाल अमेरिका पहिलोपल्ट सन् २०११ मा अमेरिकाको न्युयोर्कमा सम्पन्न भएको थियो । पहिलो मिस नेपाल अमेरिका सुजिता बस्नेत हुन् । त्यसपछि मिस नेपाल अमेरिकाको दोश्रो संस्करण सन् २०१२ मा वासिंटन डिसीमा सम्पन्न भएको थियो । सन् २०१२ मा आस्था श्रेष्ठ मिस नेपाल अमेरिका भइन् । गत वर्ष न्युयोर्कमा सम्पन्न मिस नेपाल अमेरिकामा बार्तिका राईले ताज पहिरिन सफल भइन् । प्रतियोगितामा विगतका वर्षमा सीएनएन टेलिभिजनकी पूर्व प्रस्तोता किरण क्षेत्री, हलिउडका फिल्मोग्राफी र साउड एडिटर जेम्स सिम्चिक, नेपाली कुटनीतिक नियोगका उच्च पदस्थ अधिकारीहरु, मिस अमेरिका, मिस न्युयोर्क लगायत उपस्थीत भइसकेका छन् । यसवर्ष हुने मिस नेपाल अमेरिकालाई सफल पार्न विगतमा वर्षहरुमा जस्तै अमेरिकामा रहेका सबै क्षेत्र, तह र तप्काका नेपालीको साथ, सहयोग र समर्थन मिल्नेछ भन्नेमा हामी आशावादी रहेका छौं ।

New York - August 18, 2013 - Miss Bartika Rai, from New York was crowned Miss Nepal US 2013 at the grand finale of the Voyage to Shangrila 3rd Miss Nepal US beauty pageant held at Queens Theater in New York on August 17, 2013. Along with the title of Miss Nepal US 2013, Bartika won a $5,000 scholarship to continue her education from Namgel Lama (Lama Accounting), New York. The first runner-up was Miss Anuja Thapa Magar from California who earned a $3000 scholarship from Dr. Binod & Sujita Shah (Jackson Heights Medical) and Gift Hamper from DTNY by Sweety. Similarly, Second runner-up honors and a $2000 scholarship from Yam Adhikari Partners of New York Life Insurance were awarded to Miss Sony Pathak from Austin, Texas.

Event Planet Inc., the company behind Miss Nepal US, invites application for Miss Nepal US 2013, one of the most admired beauty contests in the Nepali American Community. It will be held in Queens Theater, New York on August 17, 2013 with an aphorism 'Empowering Youths, Promoting Nepal.' Applications have made open on its official website www.missnepalus.com . Interested ones can fill up the form and send it electronically via our website before July 7th 2013. Winner of the pageant will be awarded with certain inalienable amount of 5 thousand US dollar as scholarship and a round trip to Nepal from NY. While the first and second runner up will get 3 thousand and 2 thousand US Dollars Scholarship including lots of exciting gift hampers consolidation prizes, scholarships and more. Unmarried passionate females between the age of 18 and 26 years and resident of USA are encouraged to apply.

The event will be organized in different rounds, the grand finale containing not more than 20 participants. Being a highly anticipated event among the Nepalese American Community, the organizer is endeavoring its best to make this edition the more effective than earlier series. Realizing and learning from the shortcomings of previous editions, organizers have expanded the theme of the contest. They have appointed Miss Nepal 2002, Malvika Subba as the choreographer of the event. The renowned media personality Malvika is taken as a very bold and beautiful queen in Nepal. Besides, world famous Victoria Secrete Model/Top model of the world Cuba 2013 Maytee Martinez will train the contestants. America�s next top model finalist Maytee has emerged as a top-notch international model, actress, and fashion designer based in Miami and New York City. This is the first time such training will be organized in an event organized by Nepali Community in the history.

This event first took place in New York in 2011. Sujita Basnet was crowned as the first Miss Nepal US where as the second edition of the event, held in Washington DC in August 2012, was bagged by Miss. Astha Shrestha.

The event will not only serve as a platform for all the participants to achieve their personal, professional and philanthropic goals but also increase the bilateral ties between the two countries, Nepal and America. 'Miss Nepal US can act as a bridge to strengthen the relationship of migrated Nepalese, back with Nepal, commented the Nepal's largest selling national daily Kantipur. Further, this event has created excitement amongst diverse Nepalese groups in the USA and Nepal. 'Girls like Sujita need to be encouraged and inspired', quoted honorable president of Nepal Dr. Ram Baran yadav, thanking the first Miss Nepal US for being the pool between Nepal and USA. Mr. Shah, on behalf of the organizers, informed the media about the change in title of Miss Nepal USA to Miss Nepal US for this year. When approached the United States Patent and Trademark Office last year to register the title Miss Nepal USA, the Miss Universe Organization objected to the name as they felt that as Miss USA is their registered trademark using any combination of Miss USA will be confusing and misleading to their concerned stakeholders. Although this is an organizational opinion, we will wait for the final verdict from United States Patent and Trademark Office which can take 6 to 18 months to take the decision. Meanwhile based on the advice from our legal team we have decided to change the title as Miss Nepal US (AKA Miss Nepal USA) until we hear from United States Patent and Trademark Office on our application. Mr. Shah further added that in light of the no-objection by the Miss Universe Organization they have also initiated the trade mark application for the use of Miss Nepal US title as well.

The announcement ceremony of Miss Nepal US 2012 held on Western Plus Hotel, MD was hosted by Jolly Amatya. Miss Nepal USA 2011 Sujita Basnet, 1st Runner Up Tilasmi Bista, 2nd Runner Up Nabina Basnet who will also be official brand ambassadors for upcoming Miss Nepal US 2012 were also present. Hundreds of distinguished community leaders/members and other respected guests led by Honorary Council General of Nepal Embassy to USA- Prem Raja Mahat, met and shared their ideas to make this event a grand success. The program began with the official promo video of Miss Nepal US 2012 and ended with the video of achievements by Sujita Basnet after winning the title Miss Nepal USA 2011. During the ceremony, the winner of Logo Competition was also announced. Sarobar Kasajoo, who currently lives in MN, won the Miss Nepal USA 2012 Logo Competition. We would like to congratulate him.
